The Art of Getting By is now available on DVD & Blu-ray today! Get yourself a copy! I will try to get mine today if not then over the weekend. Look for captures soon! Skincare is better left to the professionals, which is why the best thing you can do for your skin is visit a dermatologist for a personalized evaluation. Alas, these appointments require time and money that we don’t always have to spare. The second best? Chat live or submit your questions beforehand to a dynamite team that includes porcelain-skinned actress Emma Roberts, a board-certified dermatologist, a skincare scientist, and a top makeup artist. Neutrogena is rounding the experts up for a live webinar to answer your questions on everything skin, from exfoliation to tackling holiday makeup. An amazing, completely free opportunity to have a Q&A sesh with a makeup artist, derm, and Emma Roberts?? Now I’ve got time for that.

Emma Roberts Teaches Us ‘The Art Of Getting By,’ Talks Fave NYC Haunts
Have you learned “The Art of Getting By”? Prepare to hone your skills with stars Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore as the film’s DVD and Blu-ray hit store shelves today! The romantic drama centers around Manhattan teens George (Freddie) and Sally (Emma) as they become friends and contemplate whether they should be more. And for Emma, one of the best parts of filming the coming-of-age tale was its setting.

“The whole experience was so fun for me because I got to shoot in New York City,” the New York native told us recently. “It’s rare that you get to shoot in a city lately; it’s always outside of a city lately. So for me to get to shoot in one of my favorite cities with such a fun cast and crew—I’m still close with most of the cast and the director Gavin [Wiesen] is a close friend.”

If we didn’t already live in the Big Apple, we’d be itching for a trip after all those accolades from Emma. But lucky for you Hollywood Crush readers, you can still win a vacay to NYC courtesy of “The Art of Getting By”! (Click here for the rules and how to enter!)

Seeing as one of you fine folks will soon be gracing one of Emma’s favorite cities, we asked her for a few must-see places to add to your itinerary.

“Magnolia Bakery has the best cupcakes and banana pudding, so I would definitely suggest going there,” Emma said. “It’s a sickness. I’ve eaten a whole carton before I even get home from walking with it.

“You have to go to the museums,” she continued. “I love going to the Museum of Natural History. I think it’s such a fun museum. It just never gets old. There’s something very magical about it.”

You heard the girl! Add these stops to your to-do list, stat. (Also, we can totally vouch for that Magnolia pudding—yowzers!)

  3. I just finished watching. As for me, this film is brilliant:) I can hardly describe the feeling after watching it .. it’s so real. That is probably the best word. I recommend it most.
The action develops slowly. Reveals the truth seeking purpose in life and love that can make a difference. The film beautiful, poignant, perfectly chosen soundtrack.
I’m not good at English, I hope you are able to read my mind about this film (I use an interpreter).
