Grazia India – June 2019 & Social Media Update

Emma and Amanda Seyfried’s Fendi Baguette campaign is featured in Grazia India June issue, see photos and interview below! They mention a micro movie was filmed so assume video to be released later this week. Added her latest social media photo shares, which includes a new doll to her collection. If you haven’t notice by now a new layout was put up for photo gallery and video vault!

It’s probably safe to say that the best kind of friendships are formed with a mutual love for Fendi. A ‘Baguette’ bag to be specific. After all, it ain’t just no bag, it’s a Bag-uette. Few handbags have enjoyed a pop culture presence like the high-wattage ‘It’ bag by the Italian luxury house, and not even Hollywood actresses are immune to its allure. The #BaguetteFriendsForever series pushed out by Fendi celebrates the return of the ‘Baguette’ (the timing couldn’t be more perfect; ‘It’ bags of the ’00s are currently having a moment in fashion.) In case you’ve been out of the loop, the three-part campaign, which is set in a number of cities around the world, shows us how the cult bag is a part of the everyday lives of fashionable cliques, whether they’re out shopping or at a karaoke bar.

To spotlight the theme of female friendships, the brand also roped in actors, and real-life friends, Amanda Seyfried and Emma Roberts to star in a micro movie, which is part of the #BaguetteFriendsForever series, filmed inside the Fendi flagship store on New York’s Madison Avenue. We caught up with the duo to discuss friendship, the Big Apple and the ‘Baguette’, of course.

GRAZIA: What makes it special to be part of this project together?

EMMA ROBERTS: Amanda and I had the best time. We hadn’t seen each other in a while, and we just laughed and caught up. She’s so funny and has a contagious energy about her. Any time you can mix work and friendship, it’s a win.

AMANDA SEYFRIED: Emma’s herself, easy to connect with, madly funny, bold and a no-nonsense person. I love working with women I respect and connect with. It feels powerful and fun.

G: What’s your favourite place in New York to go to with your best friends?

ER: I like visiting the McNally Jackson bookstore, followed by lunch at Sant Ambroeus on a weekend. I also love to check out what’s happening at The Guggenheim.

AS: My favourite place in New York is the ABC Carpet & Home store, I love to go there with my friends and look around.

G: How do you style your ‘Baguette’?

ER: I prefer to mix mine with a vintage slip-dress or denim. I really like the contrast of a high-end piece with something vintage.

AS: I feel like the Baguette goes with everything, there’s no need to style it as it stands out as is.
