Emma Roberts is a great actress. Her recent roles in “American Horror Story” and James Franco’s “Palo Alto” prove the child actress still has a long career ahead of her. But while she shines on screen, it’s her off-duty style that really sets her apart from other Hollywood ingénues. And now, the 23-year-old is taking her personal flair for fashion and translating that into a jewelry line for BaubleBar. Serving as the brand’s “Guest Bartender” — the recurring initiative taps influencers such as Coca Rocha and Harley Viera Newton as partners for exclusive bling for the website — Roberts created a 19-piece collection. The line, which launched Tuesday, costs between $18 and $150 and includes statement earrings, a two-finger ring, chunky necklaces, and more. Roberts spoke with Yahoo Style about her recent purchases, creative, and what she’s wearing this fall.
What are your favorite designers? I love Rag and Bone for jeans. Helmut Lang has amazing sweaters I’m coveting this fall! I also love Wildfox, Elizabeth and James, and Elkin.
What’s the last item of clothing you bought? Last piece of jewelry? I just ordered these black suede pointy toe mules from Shopbop.com by Schutz. I also ordered a pair for one of my best friends for her birthday. They’re perfect for fall. I recently splurged on this little black Gucci cross body bag that I’ve had my eye on for a year! The last piece of jewelry I got was a gold ring that has a red heart in the shape of a heartbeat by MF Jewelry. I’m obsessed with all her stuff right now!
If you could pick one fashion icon dead or alive to wear your collection who would it be? Coco Chanel! I’m obsessed with everything about her.

EMMA’S NEW ROLE: BaubleBar has tapped actress Emma Roberts as its latest Guest Bartender, with a collaborative 19-style collection launching on baublebar.com today that will retail from $18 to $150. The Guest Bartender as Told by Emma Roberts is the e-tailer’s largest campaign yet — and will see multiple deliveries over the next three months, with an additional 10-piece holiday assortment rolling out in early November. Campaign imagery featuring Roberts will support the line — as well as e-mail marketing outreach and a dedicated social media hashtag, #AsToldByEmma. “I have a love-hate relationship with social media, but mostly love,” Roberts said, adding that she will help promote the new collection via her Instagram account, where she has more than two million followers. According to Daniella Yacobovsky, BaubleBar cofounder, the company is on track to grow its top line by three times over 2013.

It’s pretty obvious that Emma Roberts is becoming a style icon. The young starlet has a knack for pairing cool outfits with chic accessories … and let’s be honest, she has the dream hair we all wish for. So it makes a lot of sense that Elkin, an LA-based brand designed by sisters Brit and Kara Smith, would choose Roberts as a muse. Oh, and they all happen to be best friends too.
“It’s funny because when we started Elkin, we knew exactly who our girl was and what she was about … and now she has a face,” explained Kara Smith via email. “Emma has such a wild, fun, creative mind like us and she really identified with this collection. There was no one better to have around us during the FW14 design process and there was obviously no one better to model it.”
The trio hung out together conceptualizing the fall line, which is comprised of flowing dresses, tailored tops and cute separates inspired by a ’60s-meets-’90s aesthetic. “It’s classic but it also injects elements of decades past, using the ’90s and ’60s as some of [Emma’s] (and our) favorite eras to play with,” Brit Smith wrote to us. “The three of us always talk about how we love a dark, ’90s witchy look mixed with a classic ’60s French-inspired boarding school girl sort of look. So we merged these two looks for this collection.”
The lookbook was shot at the Paramour Mansion in Silver Lake, California, a locale that’s been everything from a school for girls to a movie set. “It felt like the three of us were playing dress up and running through Miss Havisham’s house or ‘The Secret Garden.’ It was like being at sleepover camp with your best friend … we were constantly laughing.” See the results of their fun day below.
