Emma Roberts, 24, plays the lead character Chanel Oberlin, a terrifying sorority co-president who lords over her minions (the Chanels) on the hit fall show “Scream Queens.” In real life, Ms. Roberts, who was born in the Hudson Valley but grew up in the Hollywood Hills, is quite a bit more approachable and a beauty product junkie to boot. Here, the actress and Aerie model shares her beauty favorites.
This is my favorite thing: my AmorePacific Dual Eye Cream — one is for day and one is for night. The day one has sunscreen in it. I am obsessed with beauty tips, and I’m obsessed with products. So I’m always reading online and magazines, and I’m always asking my friends what they’re using. We shoot in New Orleans, and on my days off, I go to the Saks there and get new stuff. I love beauty counters.
Right now, I can’t live without the Tata Harper Beautifying Face Oil. Then I use Murad oil-control mattifying SPF 15. It’s great because makeup goes really smoothly over it. I love Neutrogena makeup remover wipes — I have literally 10 packs of them. They’re the only ones that don’t make my eyes red.
Once a week, I love the Ren Flash One-Minute facial. I have five of them because I’m always afraid things will be discontinued. Sometimes I’ll do the SK-II sheet mask. I’ve done those sheet masks in front of boyfriends and scared the crap out of them. I don’t get embarrassed in the name of beauty.
For my body, I use almond oil I got from Whole Foods — I love the smell of it. If I’m showering in the morning, I dry brush. All the models talk about it in articles, so I tried it. I don’t really see a visible difference, but I do it anyway. I feel like it exfoliates a bit.
SPOILER ALERT(maybe): Below are candids of Emma along with Abigail Breslin and Billie Lourd on set of Scream Queens in New Orleans, LA on the 5th of November! The Channels’ are in trouble, is it a setup or they the killers?! I have added new stills for episode 8 airing this Tuesday (November 10) and episode 9 airing the following week!
Roberts will portray Sydney, the love interest of Elgort’s financial genius Joe Hunt. Egerton will portray tennis pro Dean Karny and Spacey will play high roller Ron Levin.
The film will follow the true story of the rise and fall of Hunt and Karny, who ran a Ponzi scheme called the Billionaire Boys Club — which collapsed when Levin’s investment turned out to be worthless. Hunt turned to murder to raise funds and was convicted in 1987 of killing Levin. Karny served as the state’s witness in the trial.
James Cox (“Wonderland”) is directing from a script he co-wrote with Captain Mauzner.
The project, produced by Holly Wiersma and Cassian Elwes, is being financed by Armory Films with its principals Tim Zajaros and Chris Lemole executive producing. Crystal Lourd, Jere Hausfater and Logan Levy will also executive produce.
Good Universe is launching international sales at the American Film Market.
NBC aired a “Billionaire Boys Club ” miniseries in 1987 with Judd Nelson as Hunt, Ron Silver as Levin and Brian McNamara as Karny.
Roberts stars on “Scream Queens.” She’s repped by CAA.
The news was first reported by The Tracking Board.

Scream Queens leading lady, #AerieReal ambassador, and Teen Vogue cover girl Emma Roberts is in high demand these days. Luckily, we were able to steal the actress away from her busy schedule for some one-on-one time.
In an exclusive interview with Roberts, we chat with the tastemaker about misconceptions in the beauty world today, how she scores the best fashion finds for her character Chanel, and the red carpet moment she’ll never forget.
Who What Wear: We’re big fans of your #AerieReal campaign. What is your definition of real beauty?
Emma Roberts: I feel like all of the people, specifically women, who I’ve always admired growing up and even now are never the people who are the most by-the-book beautiful on the outside, but are more someone who just lights up a room, someone who has things to talk about, and is smart and funny, and that whole package is magnetic. And so that to me is what true beauty is. And with Aerie, I like that their whole message is the “real you is sexy,” and they leave that open to interpretation of whatever it is that you find sexy about yourself, whether that’s something on the inside or the outside. I think that if you feel confident about something, it’s okay to own that and show that and be proud of it.
WWW: What do you think are some of the biggest misconceptions in fashion and beauty today?
ER: Well, I think that you see certain people on Instagram and you think, “Oh my god, they’re perfect, and I have all these flaws.” I think it’s about teaching, young girls especially, that there is no such thing as flaws, really. Whatever you think is a negative about yourself, someone else is going to love. It’s always an example with my girlfriends, like when I’m having the worst hair day, and they’re like, “Really? I think your hair looks amazing today!” I think so many women, because of magazines and Instagram and Photoshop, have an unrealistic view of beauty, and so I think what Aerie is doing by putting these huge billboards up in New York that are un-retouched is so rad and liberating. I mean, it’s great. My sister is 14 years old, and she was like, “That’s so cool that you are doing that, Em. I just absolutely love the photos and I can’t believe it’s not retouched. Me and my friends are all going to post un-retouched photos to celebrate your campaign.” And that made me really happy.
