LAX – Nov. 25th + Talks AHS at AMAs

Emma was spotted at LAX on Monday (November 25), I would assume heading to New York to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with family. No new American Horror Story: Coven tonight 🙁 Below you can click ‘read rest of this entry’ to see another interview from the American Music Awards on Sunday where she discussed her character on AHS. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

The spells have gotten a bit more complicated this season on “American Horror Story: Coven” than sleepover games like “Light as a feather, stiff as a board.”

SPOILERS AHEAD!

This season has been dominated by resurrection and resurgence spells. One of the most recent spells was cast to bring back mean girl/movie star/witch Madison, played by Emma Roberts. After being murdered by the coven’s Supreme (Jessica Lange) several weeks ago, and being dressed up like a doll and kept rather creepily in a box by Spalding (Denis O’Hare), the coven’s male servant, she was finally brought to back to life by her only actual pal, Zoe (Taissa Farmiga) as well as the Stevie Nicks-obsessed Misty (Lily Rabe).

While that seems like a confusing enough situation as it is, she then ended up in a threesome with Zoe and Zoe’s Frankenstein-like beau, Kyle (Evan Peters), who Zoe and Madison brought back to life earlier this season. So, if you think things have gone from weird to bad to weird again for Madison, Roberts tells MTV News it just might get even darker for the living-dead witch.

“You can expect a lot of ups and downs with Madison. She’s very likable one minute and then she kind of turns on you the next,” she teased. “So it’s actually been fun for me because every week I’m like ‘Ooh, what is she gonna do? Is she gonna be a bitch? Is she gonna be nice?’ And it’s been really fun to play with.”

While O’Hare, Farmiga, Rabe, Peters and Lange are all vets of the FX anthology series, which kicked off back in 2011, Roberts is new to the franchise, having joined just this season. Lange, who has been on every season of the Ryan Murphy-created horror series, has already confirmed that she won’t be back after next season, telling Entertainment Weekly, “I think four years doing something is a sufficient amount of time.”

But is Roberts ready to tag out after just one season? Not from the sounds of it. “I’d love to [do another season],” she said.

“American Horror Story: Coven” airs Wednesday nights on FX.
