American singer and actress Emma Roberts, the face of Alive from Boss Parfums, reveals the secrets of her well-being, her favorite products and her little beauty obsessions.
What time do you get up in the morning?
When I am not working, I rarely get up before 10 a.m. I love to sleep, and sleep is so important for health. I have a night owl side. In the evening, I like to read or just catch up on everything I am late.
Do you go out naked?
I spend a lot of time doing makeup for filming, photo shoots or TV shows. It’s a luxury to feel my skin breathe, just clean and well hydrated.
Do you feel the need to play sports?
More and more, over time. I do yoga , Pilates and I have a coach. Sport allows me to maintain my figure, but also to stimulate my mind. I feel more focused after a session. Small daily goals get you out of the house and provide a sense of accomplishment.
The three beauty products you never separate from?
I am obsessed with masks . I love the Charlotte Tilbury Hydrating Face Mask in Dry Fabric, practical on airplanes because it does not drip. I buy Drunk Elephant’s own brand care, very effective on my skin. Finally, I can not do without Hyaluronic Serum by Dr. Barbara Sturm, extremely hydrating. I use it in the evening and during the day when I travel.
Do you like your age?
At 29, I am more grounded and calm than ten years ago. With age, you get to know yourself better and appreciate yourself a little more. Aging is a beautiful thing that doesn’t scare me.
The beauty gesture that most resembles you?
Put back a layer of mascara . Even when I’m made up by a professional. There is never enough.
What does your hair say about you?
I feel like every day is a day without. Maybe because I dyed them a lot. I was red , brown , blonde . So, I’m always looking for a good vitamin remedy. At the moment I am treating them with In Common and Olaplex products, and Nutrafol food supplements.
What are the smells of your childhood?
Baking my mom’s chocolate cookies. She prepared them for all occasions, birthdays, school holidays. They were very popular.
Do you wear perfume every day?
Yes, and I’ve been wearing Alive by Boss Parfums since I shot the campaign, when it was not yet on the market. It became my olfactory signature. The scent gives the final touch to the look. He says as much about a person as his clothes.
