We would like to wish everyone who celebrates Independence Day a Happy 4th of July!

portraitjuly2010 Coming from a famous family inevitably gets you a little more attention than you might want. But Emma Roberts has been taking it all in stride. She has never used her well known relatives to score a role. And she’s been steadily climbing the celebrity ladder since she was about ten years old. There have been a lot of parts I’ve been up for that I haven’t gotten. I don’t get everything handed to me like some people think. I mean, people say, “Oh, do you feel like you’re living in Julia’s shadow?” I don’t at all, because I’m not trying to be her. I’m just being myself and doing what I want to do. I’m having a lot of fun, and I feel like I am making a name for myself, as well.
