Emma Roberts is in early talks to co-star in New Line’s “We’re the Millers” opposite Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis.
Rawson Marshall Thurber will direct.
Pic follows a veteran pot dealer who creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the U.S. from Mexico. Hahn will portray the wife of a DEA agent who’s on vacation.
Will Poulter and Ed Helms have also recently joined the “Millers” cast.
Tucker Tooley, Vincent Newman, and Happy Walters are producing, and production is set to begin July 23 in North Carolina.
CAA reps Roberts, whose upcoming pics include “Adult World” and “Empire State.” Her next film, “Celeste and Jesse.”
Emma Roberts is in talks to join the Rawson Thurber-directed New Line comedy We’re The Millers opposite Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis. Roberts will play Julia, a 20 year-old runaway with a dark side who pretends to be the daughter of Sudeikis’ and Aniston’s fake family while on a cross country vacation. Roberts recently completed the starring role in the indie film Adult World opposite John Cusack and the love interest to Liam Hemsworth in Empire State for Lionsgate. She is repped by manager David Sweeney and CAA.
