Neutrogena brand ambassadors Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere kicked off the beauty company’s Wave for Change campaign, a philanthropic initiative that supports U.S. educational charities, and Teen Vogue got some insider advice straight from the girls. You can join in by watching Wave for Change videos on Neutrogena’s Facebook page and one dollar will automatically be donated to support educational programs or purchase the brand’s products that support the cause!

While on set for the campaign, the actresses admit a few of their past beauty no-nos (think spider lashes and loads of blush!) and say they’re now total advocates of the natural look.
